Volunteer Recruitment Briefing for Kamome Classroom and Internal Training for Children's Learning Support Group 01 July 2023 This is conducted for providing guidance to Kamome Classroom and for recuiting Volunteers living in the area. It also serves as training to members. While listening to lectures, it provides an opportunity to think about what the children connected to foreign land can do within the community.

Fureai Hall Elementary and junior high school students from the Kamome Class will exhibit and cooperate with a handmade art exhibition through support of local junior and senior high school students sponsored by Kanakatsu.
Kanakatsu Autumn Festival TBD At the Kanakatsu-sponsored event that exhibits and introduces picture books from various countries, we will introduce overseas picture books and their episode that are being read in the Kamome classroom and at homes.

・Visiting research vessels, submersibles, experiment facilities in JAMSTEC and Waste Recycling Bureau Kanazawa plant.
・Availability: 40 people first come first serve basis; foreign priority but Japanese can participate. Free of charge.
Chinese language class for children July 15 and 29
From August 2012, the 2nd and 4th of every Sunday 13:30-15:00
Kanazawa International Lounge ・Chinese language class for elementary and juniour high school students.
・Children from China, Japan and who are interested in learning Chinese.
・Fee: 800 YEN per a month.

Kanazawa International Lounge ・Japanese class students wll be given a lecture about what to do in case of emergency and how to use Disaster Emergency Message Dial(171).
Training program for new Kamome School volunteer teachers September 5, 14, 21 and 28; every Friday night An observation to Kamome School was held on Octorber 4. Iki Iki Center ・Kamome school provides study and language help for children with cultually and linguistically diverse background (CALD).
・Eligible for local citizens and those who are able to work as a volunteer teacher at Kamome school after finishing this trainning program.

How to join?

            Event information and details about events can be found on our website one month in advance.
            Event flyers will be also posted on the bulletin boards at Kanazawa Ward Office and other public facilities in Kanazawa ward, such as the library and the Chiku-center. Please check the details on them.

            If you need a help, RSVS is not required - Just come to visit or contact us! Parking space is not available, please use bus or train.
