Lounge Guide
Yokohama City promotes development of communities where it is easy to live
and be active for both Japanese and foreign residents.
“International Lounges” serve as regional centers to support these objectives
and there are eleven lounges in Yokohama.
The lounges support foreign residents in their daily life and their efforts
to learn Japanese language.
Furthermore, their facilities provide opportunities for both Japanese and
foreign residents to communicate and exchange information with each other
through many events.
The lounges are operated by civil activity groups, NPOs, or foundations,
with support of citizen volunteers.
Kanazawa International Lounge supports foreign residents with comission
from the Kanazawa Ward Office.
